what’s in a name
come from a kind of business in which people thrive with a lot of hot air. In Dutch, people say “gebakken lucht” which is the same as “hot air” or “baloney”. The French say “aire brûlé” and Germans say “heiße Luft”. It all describes pompous, overly complex language to describe all kinds of topics. A main goal of mine is to communicate in plain language.
I do that with a little irony. That’s why the name!
It’s not in printing, it is not physically distributed. I can change it as much as I like. That’s the nice thing about web technology; it’s never ready!
